Fire consumes $1.2 million in grocery inventory

There was a fire at an Elk Grove Village grocery store. The fire was massive and the damage is around $1.2 million.
The automatic sprinklers activated keeping the fire in check. One person suffered a minor injury. It will take some time before the store is able to restock the products.
